2025 Memorial Day Flags

Downtown Waterloo

Join us in honoring our nation's heroes by assisting with the installation of American flags on the 4th Street Bridge in observance of Memorial Day. Volunteers will help place flags along the bridge to create a patriotic tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

What to Expect:

  • Volunteers will help carry, place, and secure flags along the bridge.

  • The process will take approximately an hour.

  • This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to give back to the community.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothing and shoes.

  • Gloves (optional but recommended).

  • A patriotic spirit and willingness to help!

Let's come together to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Sign up today or simply show up to lend a hand!

After submitting your sign up, you will receive a confirmation email. We will follow up with more detailed instructions closer to the date. If you have any question, you can email volunteer@mainstreetwaterloo.org or call 319-291-2038.
