We are excited about your interest in contributing to the revitalization and growth of our downtown area. Please complete the application form below to help us learn more about you and how your skills and experiences can help us achieve our goals.
The Economic Vitality Council works to identify new market opportunities for the Downtown commercial district, find new uses for historic commercial buildings, and stimulate investment in downtown properties. This group works towards improvements in arts, culture, riverfront investments, and tourism. The EV Council uses market data to recruit new retail, service, and restaurant opportunities throughout the downtown district.
In addition to business recruitment, the EV Council works to strengthen existing businesses through seminars, consultant visits, and more.
The Economic Vitality Council meets the first Thursday of the month at noon. The meetings are 60-90 minutes. Council members are asked to serve on event subcommittees and volunteer at events throughout the year.
